Anthea Adie is an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist now focussed on paediatrics. Anthea was born in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and studied Occupational Therapy in Perth, at Curtin University of Western Australia graduating with a Bachelor of Science (OT) in 2002. She moved to the UK in 2005 and has since been assessing and treating children in both mainstream and special schools.

Anthea has extensive experience working with children of all ages from various backgrounds and abilities. She has provided assessment and therapy in educational settings, special needs schools (for those with intellectual and physical disabilities), within the child's home and in multi-disciplinary teams in the community.

Anthea has extensive experience working with children with developmental disorders, physical disabilities, neurological disabilities and social communication disorders. She enjoys helping children develop to their full potential while helping the family meet the child's needs. Anthea actively encourages school involvement in therapy.

Anthea believes that therapy should be an enjoyable experience for the child and tailors therapy and play to meet their interests and needs.

Anthea is registered with the Health Professional Council and is really excited to be working at Kiki's clinic and to be part of a great team!
