Daphne NeethlingOCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTDaphne Neethling graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 1998 at the University of Pretoria. After graduation she spent two years in the UK working on Orthopaedic, Medical and Surgical wards. In 2001 she returned to South Africa where she started to work with children in life skill groups in a senior secondary school for children with epilepsy and specific learning disabilities. From there she moved on to working at a school for Children with Cerebral Palsy and specific leaning difficulties. It is there she discovered her passion for helping children with neurological impairments. She learned how rewarding it is to help children to become more independent and saw how they come alive when they succeed and are able to communicate. Daphne was also involved in disabled sport through coaching an managing a team from the school. Daphne did her 8 week Basic Bobath Course and started her Sensory Integration training in this time. Daphne returned to London in 2004. Since then she worked in an NHS Children's Service. She has recently completed her sensory integration training and also the Bobath advance Baby course. Daphne looks at a child holistically and in all their environments. She is delighted to be part of the team at Kiki's Children's Clinic.
