Diane WhiteSENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTDiane White is an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist. Diane was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in South Africa. She studied amongst the vineyards in Stellenbosch and was awarded a Bachelor of Science from the University of Stellenbosch in 2000. Thereafter she studied at the University of Cape Town where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2003. Whilst undertaking her period of community service (which is prescribed in South Africa) in a township in Soweto, Johannesburg, she simultaneously completed a further honours degree in Psychology from the University of South Africa. Diane specialises in Bobath's neurodevelopmental therapy and Sensory Integration therapy. She is also a Baby Massage Instructor. Diane was sad to leave a fantastic private practice in Johannesburg to move to the UK in 2006 with her husband. She has two children who keep her hands full. Diane's particular interest is working with children with developmental co-ordination difficulties, neurological and neuromuscular conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, sensory impairments and developmental delay. Diane has experience working with children of different ages from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures and has worked extensively with families in community, hospital and educational settings, and in multidisciplinary clinics. Throughout her practice of occupational therapy she has been responsible for providing assessments, treatment, consultation and advice to a considerable range of children with various needs. Diane is registered with the British Health Professions Council and is delighted to be part of the team at Kiki's Children's Clinic.
