Lindsay Bartlett is a highly dedicated and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist.

Lindsay was born in Cape Town but grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her passions are her family and friends, helping others and dance. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of Witwatersrand. Her unwavering desire to work in the Paediatric field led Lindsay to a specialist Mother and Child Hospital in South Africa. In January 2006, Lindsay moved to London to advance both her professional and personal experiences.

Lindsay has added to her qualifications: in 2009 she was certified to administer and interpret the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT). In April 2010, she will complete her Advanced Sensory Integration qualification.

Lindsay has worked for one of the best Primary Care Trusts in the NHS as well a Special Needs School for children with Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Aspergers and other learning difficulties.

Lindsay is passionate about the children and families she supports and she strongly believes in early intervention as well as the teamwork between the therapist, family and school in order to help achieve the childās maximum potential. For her, important principles in therapy are that it is:

  • Enjoyable
  • child-directed
  • aimed at the child's JUST-RIGHT level.

Lindsay's primary interest is working with children who have developmental co-ordination difficulties/Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and Sensory Integration Issues. She enjoys the detective work of hidden difficulties where the cause or understanding is not immediately clear, yet the child is not functioning optimally.

Lindsay is registered with the Health Professional Council, the British Association of Occupational Therapists as well as the Sensory Integration Network.
