Annemarie graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 2010. She then moved on to work in a community hospital and rural community, treating both adult and paediatric patients. There she set up a support and therapy group for mothers of children with cerebral palsy, working closely alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team. In 2012 she moved to the UK in search of more experience and has since worked in various settings in the UK, continuously gaining knowledge of many different paediatric diagnoses, including muscular dystrophies, cerebral palsy and acquired brain injuries. She believes that each child should be given the opportunity to achieve their full potential through fun and interactive therapy.
